The MEAL Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and accountability of the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) system for Save the Children's programs in the country.
The MEAL Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and accountability of the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) system for Save the Children's programs in the country.
The MEAL Specialist will support the design and implementation of MEAL frameworks, tools and processes, as well as data analysis and reporting.
The MEAL Specialist will also facilitate learning and feedback mechanisms to improve program performance and impact.

To be qualified for this role, the candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in MEAL-related roles in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with Save the Children or similar organizations.
The candidate should also have a relevant degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies or related fields.
The candidate should have strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, using various software and platforms.
The candidate should also have excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
The candidate should be fluent in English and the local language of the country where the position is based.
