Job Description
The Material Analyst will be responsible for managing drilling-related materials, ensuring optimal stock levels, and maintaining accurate stock databases. The role involves coordinating material replenishment planning, verifying physical inventory, supporting SAP material management, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. The Analyst will also work with Technical Administrators, Finance, and Logistics teams to streamline inventory control processes and reduce surplus and dead stock.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure optimal stock parameters to avoid overstock or stock-outs.
Maintain stock availability through accurate physical replenishment.
Guarantee database accuracy and stock updates.
Reconcile financial and physical stocks.
Recommend and implement optimization actions for stock management.
Coordinate with Technical Administrators to ensure accurate Material Master Form (MMF) entries.
Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements in material records.
Manage planning for stock materials replenishment to meet operational demands.
Conduct regular checks of physical inventory against SAP data.
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with Logistics/Warehouse teams.
Initiate and coordinate dead stock reduction efforts.
Optimize stock level and avoid material shortages via SAP Material Replenishment Planning (MRP).
Assist in Partners' Inventory Audits at warehouse sites.
Handle all C&P stock transactions within SAP.
Manage reintegration and control of materials returned from drilling activities.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (field not specified but relevant to materials management, logistics, engineering, or related disciplines).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of international experience managing Drilling & Wells related materials.
In-depth knowledge of drilling materials, services, and operational procedures.
Strong understanding of inventory control and material management processes.
Familiarity with material specifications, certifications, and verification protocols.
Good knowledge of SAP and material master data management.
Proven ability to coordinate across departments and with technical teams.
Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
