Job Description
The Graduate Trainee will be assigned to the Marketing and Communications Department and will work under a dedicated mentor. During the 12-month programme, the trainee will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, campaign support, communication coordination, and outreach initiatives. The role provides exposure to working in a professional environment with experienced professionals, contributing to public service through effective communication strategies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop engaging content for marketing channels including social media and email campaigns.
Assist in managing and growing the organization's social media presence.
Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and audience preferences.
Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Plan and coordinate outreach programmes to engage the community and partners.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
South African citizenship and possession of a valid South African ID.
Passion for public service and an interest in the financial sector.
Strong academic background with high levels of integrity.
Willingness to work in high-pressure environments and to put in extra hours.
Self-driven, energetic, deadline-oriented.
Computer literate.
