Manager Saccos and Government Payments job at PostBank Uganda

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
• The Job holder will be responsible for managing SACCOS and government agencies, acquisition cycle of partners, revenue growth, profitability, portfolio growth, relationship management, business case development, product development, user acceptance tests while coordinating technical integrations with clients, customer experience, usage uptake and go live.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities /Key Deliverables

  • Identify, engage prospective Saccos and government agencies to be integrated to the wallet with understanding of client needs and aligning solutions that meet the needs.

  • Manage end to end the new client onboarding process that includes acquisition, KYC verification, contracting, Product design, development, acceptance testing, client training, product usage and retention. This also includes carrying out post implementation reviews of all products to ensure stabilisation and achieving the intended objectives.

  • Develop business cases to develop/enhance products within the Sacco and government agencies space. This includes coordinating with projects, Products, and technical teams to customize products that address market and customer needs.

  • Responsible for revenue, profitability, and portfolio growth of all Sacco and government agencies products including price reviews from time to time using data to make decisions.

  • Carry out market research on new product innovations to recommend revenue & customer experience impacting products and services in the Sacco and government agencies space. This includes keeping abreast with industry and market trends.

  • Responsible for building and managing all relationships with all service providers/vendors, Sacco, government agencies, Regulator, and all internal stakeholders with objective to maximize usage of systems, products, and services.

Qualifications and Competencies

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, International business, finance, commerce, or its equivalent.

  • Five (5) years’ experience in Banking, Fintech, and similar environment with focus in driving sales and business growth.

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a management role in mobile financial services, FinTech or Financial Institutions.

  • Experience in business development, product development, relationship management, technical business analysis, sales process, people skills and understanding the market.

  • Strong training skills

  • Excellent planning, presentation, and organisational skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic skill

  • Excellent negotiation and project management skills

  • Business acumen

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent driving skills
