Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Finance and Administration Officer, the Manager Procurement will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all procurement and disposal functions at UNMC. This includes ensuring that all goods, services, and works are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner in compliance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act and other applicable regulations. The officer will also provide guidance and technical support to user departments, develop and maintain supplier relationships, and promote effective internal controls to safeguard company interests.

Manage small office equipment, office supplies, and furniture inventory
Ensure adequate stock levels and coordinate with vendors
Organize hotel and transport logistics for visitors and staff
Oversee the use and payment of utilities
Prepare and submit timely and accurate administration reports
Ensure confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, and distribute reports and memos
Keep stakeholders updated with relevant company information
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
An Honours Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Office Management
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is an added advantage
Minimum of four (4) years of professional working experience in administration within a reputable institution
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical and presentation skills
Proficient in report writing
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Excellent customer care abilities
Solid ICT knowledge and skills
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
High moral integrity
Sound organizational and management skills
