Job Description
Job Title: Manager Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
Organisation: Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Developing the Authority’s Monitoring and Evaluation framework.
Preparation of the monitoring and evaluating budget performance.
Supervising the establishment and maintenance the Monitoring and Evaluation information management system.
Overseeing the preparation of periodic institutional performance reports.
Supervising impact and performance assessment of Projects and programmes of the Authority.
Building capacity of staff in the application of monitoring and evaluation concepts and tools.
Developing monitoring and evaluation results frameworks and related tools.
Monitoring the Authority’s Monitoring and Evaluation plans for conformity with the National Development Plan and Tourism Sector plans.
Coordinating the mid-term and final implementation reviews of the Authority Strategic Plans and Projects.
Developing a framework for identifying crosscutting policy issues that affect performance in the Authority.
Evaluating the quality of performance indicators and tracking of service delivery in line with the identified indicators.
Supervising and appraising staff.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
An Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in either Monitoring and Evaluation Studies, Economics, Statistics, Population Studies, Project Planning and Entrepreneurship or Business Statistics from a recognized University.
A Master’s degree in any of the above.
Experience
At least nine (09) years relevant working experience, three (3) of which should have been at Principal level from a reputable Organisation.
