Job Description
Job Title: Manager Credit Administration
Organisation: Pride Bank Limited (PBL)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Manager Credit Administration will report to Head of Credit and will be based at Head office. He/she will be responsible for providing support in the management of the credit process, activities and stakeholders including documents review, safe custody and retrieval of securities, portfolio monitoring and reporting as well as supporting branches in implementation of the credit policy and procedures.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement initiatives to achieve operational efficiency within Credit Administration department.
Review credit management policies, procedures and organizational work processes, and drive appropriate corrective actions to deliver excellent customer service in line with the Pride’s strategic plan, credit policy, BOU regulations and the Pride’s corporate objectives.
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor monthly performance of the department with respect to the forecast budget and take appropriate actions.
Liaise with Business Technology to provide remedial action for system issues in line with credit policy and ensure data integrity in line with the regulatory requirements.
Review and verify the integrity of data and system reports, identify any irregularities and take remedial action in line with credit policy and Prides operating Procedures.
Monitor and ensure adequacy of provisions for all loans and advances and provide cash flow estimates for non-performing loans for objective and subjective categories.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or any relevant field.
Master’s degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
At least 6 years’ credit risk management experience in a supervised financial institution 2 of which should be in credit administration & supervision at organisation-wide level.
Should have relevant Practical training in Credit Risk Management in the financial services sector and with good track record in credit management process is an added advantage.
Should possess 2 principal passes at A’ level and credits/pass in Mathematics and English at O’level.
He/she should not be more than 45 years of age.
All Internal staff should have at least good performance rating in the recent appraisal cycles.
