Our client, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda is a professional accountancy organization set up in 1992 by the Accountants Act Cap 294 to regulate the accountancy profession In Uganda. In a bid to position Itself better and Improve service provision, the ICPAU now seeks to fill the position of Manager Business Development.
Purpose & Context:
The job holder is responsible for growth and retention of studentship and membership as well as the Institute's Image and Brand. The Job holder is responsible for development and Implementation of marketing strategies that enhance the customer experiences for all stakeholders.
Oversee membership and studentship growth, registration, development and retention and coordinate service provision across the stakeholders.
Develop, Implement and monitor the Institute's marketing plan, as well as promote the image and brand. Manage engagement and communication functions and coordinate the Institute's events to achieve set objectives.
Responsible for the Implementation of an Image database to meet needs of Communications, Relations and Events Teams.
Continuously scan the environment for emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
Supervise line staff.
Provide administrative support to the Committees responsible for Members Services, Marketing and Events Management.
Carry out any other duties as requested by Secretary/CEO.
Develop, Implement and monitor the departmental plans and budgets.
Implement appropriate risk management In the department.

Degree in a business-related field
Postgraduate qualification in business development, strategy or marketing is an added advantage
Professional Certification In Marketing or accountancy is an added advantage 4. At least seven (7) years of relevant experience.
