Job Description
This role reports to the Senior Manager – FTTH Service Fulfillment and is housed under the Fixed Broadband division. The ideal candidate will plan and manage service delivery processes and strategies to improve connection rates for high-value broadband customers. They will ensure service delivery teams and partners uphold quality, safety, and efficiency standards, proactively manage challenges, and train field teams. Additional responsibilities include handling job order tracking, contractor engagement, SLA compliance, stakeholder communication, and contributing to business case modeling and innovation initiatives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and manage FTTx service fulfillment operations aligned with SLAs and business goals.
Monitor performance of broadband propositions and provide strategic feedback.
Develop competitive strategies for broadband services and ensure rollout aligns with network goals.
Manage customer job orders (JO) and coordinate their fulfillment via partner contractors.
Handle operational troubleshooting for FTTx/ODN, LAN, and access technologies.
Lead negotiations to reduce service costs and create value for MTNN.
Oversee and mentor a team of installers to ensure proper testing and customer satisfaction.
Facilitate partner training and capacity building.
Conduct appraisals, identify training needs, and manage team development.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
First Degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, or IT-related fields.
Fluent in English.
Experience:
6 to 13 years of experience, with at least 5 in service fulfillment within telecoms, e-commerce, or fintech.
Experience in field service management, FTTH network issue resolution, and vendor engagement.
Strong knowledge of GPON, LAN, fibre broadband products, and service architectures.
Added advantage: Certifications in Project Management, CFOT, or Quality Management.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Stakeholder and contractor management.
Strategic thinking and data analysis.
