Job Description
Job Title: Manager - Business Operations & Intelligence, Sales and Distribution
Organisation: MTN Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Senior Manager Digital Transformation & Operations
Manager – Business Operations & Intelligence is responsible for driving S&D division into a digitized distribution network by supporting the business in its operational excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop MDIs for MTN distributors.
Staff commission structure modeling tied to strategy and business goals.
S&D Company Playbook Implementation as described in the digital distribution playbook.
Strategic, operational, and business planning workshops facilitation for the S&D organization.
Inventory Management and Stock forecasting.
Drive Business Efficiency through Trade process automation.
Enable the organization to deliver against its strategic objectives through the identification of performance gaps and closing them through digitization.
Working closely with technology teams to implement the trade automation tools for the S&D division.
Design Data quality management framework, including data quality standards, methods, tools, and governance for MTN Distributors
Enable the organization to deliver against its strategic goals through the identification of performance gaps. Evaluate the root causes of the performance issues and provide the visualized analytics to the GM S&D, including corrective actions recommendations.
Build the system by which predictive analytics of the performance can be conducted, ensuring proactive address of the performance issues.
Provide leadership for the reporting resources throughout the S&D division to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of the reporting.
Put together requirements for the systems and tools.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce Business Management or related course
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Background in telecommunication in business transformation, operational excellence, and Business Intelligence areas.
Proven track record in Sales and Distribution operation reporting and analytics.
Attributes and Skills Necessary Skills:
Organized, Disciplined & Prudent
Excellent time management skills with strong sense of urgency and action,
High sense of confidentiality, integrity, and work ethics.
Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
Effective team player skills
People Management Skills: Ability to work in diverse, multi-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget.
