Job Description
Design, teach, and update undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Climate Change Science, including topics such as climate modeling, mitigation strategies, and the socio-economic impacts of climate change.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design, teach, and update undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Climate Change Science, including topics such as climate modeling, mitigation strategies, and the socio-economic impacts of climate change.
Lead and participate in research projects related to climate change science, aiming to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field. Publish findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
Mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects, dissertations, and theses, providing guidance on methodology, analysis, and writing.

Qualifications and Competencies
Demonstrated experience in teaching climate change science or related subjects at the university level.
Ability to develop and deliver course materials related to climate change, environmental management, and sustainability.
A strong research background in climate change science, with a focus on areas such as climate modeling, adaptation and mitigation strategies, or environmental impact assessment.
A proven record of scholarly publications in reputable journals within the field of climate change science.

Typed application letters should be submitted in triplicate to the University Secretary, Muni University, P. O. Box 725, Arua, or the Kampala Liaison office in Makerere University Lincoln House A1 to be received not later than Monday 16th, September 2024 at 5:00pm.
The application letter should bear the title of the post and the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should attach three sets of certified photocopies of their Academic Documents and
Professional Certificates, National Identity Card and three recent passport size photographs, a typed and signed CV, evidence of previous employment (contract document(s), appointment letter(s) and Certificate(s) of Service) and any other relevant documents. Where it is required, applicants for academic positions should attach evidence of publications and graduate research supervision.
