Job Description
Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Inorganic or Physical Chemistry for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Inorganic or Physical Chemistry for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and laboratory manuals, to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements.
Assess and grade students’ assignments, exams, and lab reports in a timely and fair manner, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Qualifications and Competencies
Proven experience in teaching Chemistry, particularly Inorganic or Physical Chemistry, at the university level.
Experience in curriculum development and course design in Chemistry.
A strong track record of research in Inorganic or Physical Chemistry, with publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Experience in securing research grants and leading research projects.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill vacant position at Muni University. Typed application letters should be submitted in triplicate to the University Secretary, Muni University, P. O. Box 725, Arua, or the Kampala Liaison office in Makerere University Lincoln House A1 to be received not later than Monday 16th, September 2024 at 5:00pm.
The application letter should bear the title of the post and the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should attach three sets of certified photocopies of their Academic Documents and
Professional Certificates, National Identity Card and three recent passport size photographs, a typed and signed CV, evidence of previous employment (contract document(s), appointment letter(s) and Certificate(s) of Service) and any other relevant documents. Where it is required, applicants for academic positions should attach evidence of publications and graduate research supervision.
