Job Description
The Laboratory Technician assists in setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment. This role ensures a safe, functional environment for students to engage in practical learning activities.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare equipment and materials for laboratory exercises and demonstrations.
• Supervise students during lab sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and spaces, conducting minor repairs when necessary.
• Order and manage inventory of lab supplies and chemicals.
• Document and maintain accurate records of lab activities and safety inspections.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma/Degree in Laboratory Technology, Science, or related field.
