Exim Bank (Uganda) (EBU), commonly known as Exim Bank, is a commercial bank in Uganda. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Uganda (BOU), the central bank and national banking regulator.
Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining digital solutions that enhance our customer experience and working closely with senior developers and IT professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with the Bank’s business goals.
Develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET, C#, .NET Core, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement APIs and integrations with various systems.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
Document development processes, code changes, and best practices.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience of 2 Years).
Working knowledge of .NET, C#, .NET Core, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL.
Familiarity with Database Management Systems (DBMS), particularly Oracle and Microsoft solutions, with experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Skills & Competencies.
Experience in software development, especially agile development methodologies.
Understanding of web services, APIs, and integration techniques.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Commitment to learning and professional development & Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
