Job Description
As an IT Support Intern, you will be part of the iStore’s technical team, supporting customers with troubleshooting, hardware/software installations, and product usage. The internship provides hands-on exposure to Apple products like iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. Interns will collaborate with experienced technicians to deliver top-tier customer support and will receive ongoing training and mentorship to foster professional growth. This role emphasizes learning, teamwork, customer service, and developing foundational IT support skills.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide in-store and telephonic technical support to customers
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues
Assist with installation and configuration of hardware and software
Support customers in effectively using their Apple devices
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and customer interactions
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure efficient store operations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Completed A+ and N+ certifications
Basic knowledge of hardware and software
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Basic networking understanding (concepts and protocols)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented and customer-service driven
Familiarity with support ticketing systems is advantageous
