Job Description
The Inventory Officer will oversee order fulfillment by receiving and monitoring order notifications, verifying order details, and packing items for delivery or in-store pickup. The officer will manage inventory by verifying quantities and product specifications, ensuring proper storage, and processing returns according to company policies. Additionally, the officer will maintain a clean and organized storage area, enforce security measures, and conduct regular inventory checks to address discrepancies. The role also includes participating in training sessions for continuous improvement and contributing ideas to enhance inventory and store management processes.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receive and monitor order notifications, ensuring accuracy before proceeding.
Locate, pick, and pack ordered items efficiently, ensuring product and quantity accuracy.
Label packages with customer information and order numbers, and prepare them for delivery or in-store pickup.
Verify quantities and specifications of received items against purchase orders and update stock levels.
Properly store new items in designated areas within the storage space.
Inspect returned items for completeness and condition, processing them for refunds or exchanges as per company policy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient storage area with clear labeling and easy accessibility.
Enforce access control measures and ensure the security of the store and its contents.
Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
Report security concerns and suspicious activities to a supervisor.
Participate in training to stay updated on product knowledge and inventory management procedures.
Share feedback and best practices to improve fulfillment processes and store organization.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, stores management, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer literacy is preferred.
Knowledge of safe handling practices for electronics and gadgets is a plus.
