Job Description
The incumbent will ensure that the Instrumentation discipline work, including installation, calibration, and pre-commissioning, is executed according to project standards and specifications. They will maintain close coordination with contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring timely and safe execution of work. The role involves overseeing quality, safety, productivity, interface management, vendor coordination, and report generation for Instrumentation-related activities. The position also plays a key role in ensuring environmental protection and compliance with HSE policies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support site construction for Instrumentation works in line with company standards.
Oversee quality assurance and conformity to engineering designs.
Supervise contractors and vendors during installation, testing, and commissioning.
Act as primary supervisor in a specific area, ensuring schedule adherence.
Participate in vendor activities and witness inspections.
Monitor progress and report deviations to the Superintendent.
Interface and coordinate between disciplines and stakeholders.
Promote and enforce HSE and environmental compliance.
Submit regular discipline-specific reports to management.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Instrument/Telecoms Engineering or equivalent trade qualifications.
Minimum 12 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical construction projects.
Strong knowledge of Instrumentation codes, international standards, and best practices.
Experience with major IOCs and construction contractors.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid medical certificate compliant with company standards.
