Designing, developing and testing ICT systems and applications according to the UNBS standards and specifications
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ICT systems and applications
Documenting and maintaining ICT systems and applications
Conducting research and analysis on emerging ICT technologies and trends
Providing training and guidance to ICT staff and users on ICT systems and applications

Some of the qualifications of the ICT Development Officer include:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field
At least three years of relevant work experience in ICT development
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, PHP, Python, etc.
Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Knowledge of network and security protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, SSL, etc.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as agile, waterfall, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
