Job Description
The Human Resources & Admin Intern will provide support to the HR team by assisting with onboarding new staff, maintaining employee files, managing documentation, and supporting office inventory and supplies. The role will also involve scanning and archiving HR documents, assisting with storekeeping, and supporting payment processing. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with some field training in HR and Administration, eager to gain practical skills and experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in onboarding new staff and facilitating orientation to office operations and the external environment
Help in opening and updating personnel files and ensuring completeness according to organizational checklists
Scan and archive relevant HR documents electronically
File various documents including supplier contracts and administrative records
Support the HR Officer in receiving, sorting, and organizing invoices for payment processing
Receive, count, and record office supplies and materials
Assist in the safekeeping and inventory of office supplies and materials
Help distribute and organize supplies and other administrative materials
Perform other lawful duties as assigned by the HR Officer or management

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Public Administration from a recognized institution
At least field training experience in Human Resources and Administration roles
Basic understanding of HR and administrative functions
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work well in a team environment
