Job Title: Human Resource Officer (Fresher Jobs)

Job Type: Full-Time
The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the HR department in various HR-related tasks. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, employee relations, performance management, and general HR administration. The HR Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring that HR policies are adhered to by all staff.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing
Assist in job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Conduct initial candidate interviews as needed and support the onboarding process for new hires.
Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions, and update employee records.
Employee Onboarding and Orientation
Organize and conduct employee orientation sessions to integrate new hires into the organization.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and properly filed.
Provide necessary training on company policies, procedures, and workplace culture.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
Collect and process payroll data in collaboration with the finance team.
Handle employee benefits administration, including health, leave, and other benefits.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, leave, and benefits.
Performance Management
Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems and support managers in employee evaluations.
Monitor employee performance records and support disciplinary actions, if required.
Employee Relations
Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain a positive workplace culture through open communication, promoting employee engagement, and organizing team-building activities.
Advise employees on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
HR Policy Implementation
Support the HR Manager in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies across all departments.
Training and Development
Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
Support career development and upskilling initiatives.
HR Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
Prepare HR-related reports as requested by management, including recruitment metrics, turnover rates, and attendance records.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Conduct periodic audits to verify adherence to compliance regulations and report any violations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in an HR role, with a good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Knowledge of labor laws and best HR practices.
