Job Description
The Human Resource Intern will provide valuable assistance to the Human Resources department by contributing to multiple HR functions. This includes support in recruitment efforts, onboarding new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with training coordination, and engaging in HR projects. The internship offers comprehensive exposure to HR operations, fostering professional growth in a real-world corporate environment.
The intern will report to the Head of Human Resources and work closely with both project and contractor teams. The role also involves representing EACOP professionally when interacting with stakeholders and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with job postings and interview coordination.
Maintain the applicant tracking system.
Support new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
Assist with employee inquiries and relations.
Help plan employee engagement activities.
Organize and track training sessions and development programs.
Maintain employee records and prepare HR reports.
Provide administrative support for HR projects and daily tasks.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, or any related field.
Must provide a university introduction letter and a copy of student ID.
Must submit a partial transcript/testimonial with a minimum of an upper-second class degree.
Availability to work full-time for the internship period.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive HR information.
Adaptability and willingness to learn.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Must submit a formal internship application letter.
