Human Resource Business Partner job at BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd

Job Description

Drive the achievement of business and overall bank's Objectives through the implementation of Human resources strategy, policies and practices. In partnership with the Heads of Departments, Divisional Manages and line supervisors, HRBP provides consultancy services to enable delivery of best practices and HR focused solutions to BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd. This position serves as a liaison between the business lines and HK to ensure fulfillment of human resources needs e.g. recruitment, performance management, compensation, career development, Talent Management, Grievance Handling etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on various HR issues, such as performance management, talent development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR policies and procedures.

  • To partner with business units and functions to identify and address their HR needs and challenges, and to align HR initiatives with business priorities and strategies.

  • To design and implement HR programs and interventions that enhance employee engagement, retention, productivity, and performance.

  • To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR activities and processes, and to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

  • To ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and to maintain accurate and updated HR records and reports.

Qualifications and Competencies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelors in Social Works and social administration, social science, Organisational psychology and any related held

  • 4 years in a HR generalist, management or Business Partners role, Employee Relations, change management and team development experience.

  • Ability to diagnose problems and identity and drive appropriate solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to translate business plans and goals into human resources capabilities needed to achieve results.

  • Excellent Communication skills.

  • Influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to function in a fast paced and innovative Environment
