Job Description
Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner (Eastern Region)
Organisation: BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd
Duty Station: Eastern Region, Uganda
Reports to: Manager Culture and Engagement
To drive the achievement of business and overall bank’s Objectives through the implementation of Human resources strategy, policies and practices. In partnership with the Heads of Departments, Regional Managers and line supervisors, HRBP provides consultancy services to enable delivery of best practices and HR focused solutions to BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manpower Planning. Analysis of resource gaps, maintaining of required head count, Recruitment, Induction, career and succession planning, Probationary, Leave and exit management.
Organizational Design and Change Management. Monitor the appropriate use of various types of employee contracts and staff resources, of change initiatives, drive and deliver HR initiatives to support business, work in partnership with operational management teams to identify areas and opportunity for improvement.
Learning and development management. To engage in learning and development through Identifying the training needs assessments, career conversations, Talent management.
Performance Management. To instill performance management culture, coordinate performance appraisals, manage feedback process, PIP management.
Employee Relations. Interpret policies and procedures, attend to employee grievances and complaints, ensure workplace harmony.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial and Organizational Psychology or related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in HR Generalists, Management or Business Partner role
Employee Relations, change management and team development experience
Knowledge, Skills & Competences
Strong analytical skills
Confidentiality and integrity
Good communication skills
Good working knowledge of HRIS
Ability to handle highly stressful situations and willing to work long hours
Ability to diagnose problems, identify and drive solutions
