Job Description
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant provides key administrative and operational support in all facets of Human Resource management. The role involves coordinating recruitment processes, assisting with new hire onboarding, managing benefits-related tasks, supporting employee relations efforts, and maintaining up-to-date employee records. The successful candidate must possess a good understanding of HR practices and systems, be well-organized, and uphold a high level of confidentiality.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment:
Assist with job postings and candidate sourcing
Schedule interviews and coordinate assessments
Employee Onboarding:
Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of required documentation
Facilitate orientation programs for new employees
Benefits Administration:
Support enrollment, changes, and terminations in employee benefits
Handle inquiries related to benefits and entitlements
Employee Relations:
Support the resolution of employee relations issues and internal conflicts
Assist in documentation and investigation processes
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and current employee files and records
Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for decision-making

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
1–2 years of relevant HR experience
Competencies and Skills:
Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws
Proficient in recruitment and onboarding processes
Knowledge of benefits administration
Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
