Job Description
The HR Manager will act as the primary HR point of contact for Germany and additional EMEA countries, supporting managers and employees across various HR functions. Key responsibilities include performance management, compliance, benefits administration, audits, legal support, and process optimization. The role involves partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to drive talent management, compensation, and employee development. The successful candidate will implement best practices, maintain legal compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the HR representative for Germany and other assigned EMEA countries.
Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and exit processes.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on talent acquisition, compensation, and training.
Support HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and data management.
Oversee employee benefits and ensure alignment with company policies.
Conduct internal investigations and provide counsel on employee relations matters.
Monitor legislative changes and recommend necessary HR policy adjustments.
Handle audits, reporting, and compliance-related HR functions.
Represent Bentley in labor arbitration cases in collaboration with the legal team.
Maintain country-specific HR policies, handbooks, and procedures.
Lead HR projects and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Extensive experience in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of German labor laws and employment regulations.
Experience working in a software, tech, or software services industry is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage HR processes in a multi-country environment.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and adapt to change.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of discretion.
Ability to build relationships in a global, matrixed organization.
