On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to work in Kampala Uganda.

Role Overview
The Human Resource Business Partner will work in a truly global environment to take ownership in leading, developing and executing the company’s sustainability activities to achieve their vision for a thriving, sustainable business for all. The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.
We are seeking a strategic and proactive HR Business Partner to join our dynamic Human Resources team. You will partner closely with business leaders and managers to provide expert HR guidance and support, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role will play a crucial part in driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management initiatives.
Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges and develop HR strategies that support business goals.
Proactively identify organizational issues and implement solutions to enhance employee performance, productivity, and retention.
Assist in talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and selection processes.
Support and contribute to employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee morale.
Assist in performance management processes, including documentation and tracking.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Collaborate with HR team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.

Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Competencies:
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Experience in managing organizational change, including restructuring and growth initiatives.
