The Hotel Receptionist will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Your role will significantly contribute to the overall guest experience at our hotel.

Job Description

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist guests upon arrival

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently

  • Handle reservations and update booking systems as needed

  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions

  • Address and resolve guest complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction

  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate guest records

  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guests’ needs are met

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service will be an advantage

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing great customer service
