Job Description
Sokoni Africa Limited is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Human Resource Assistant to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and payroll administration. Your contributions will help foster a positive work environment and ensure that our team is aligned with the hotel’s goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including document collection and orientation
Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping, ensuring compliance with company policies
Help coordinate training and development programs for staff
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
Support HR initiatives and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous experience in an HR role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of HR principles and labor laws
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
