Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in community mobilization in preparation for screening and enrolment
Participate in the recruitment phase of the study by ensuring enrolled participants are given transport refund.
Verify the participant’s residence and report changes of residence and/ or guardianship status to senior study personnel.
Read consent documents in local languages and interpreting for the consenting physician and participants during the consent process if and when necessary
Small errands requiring vehicle or motor cycle transportation as requested by study team.
Collect participants and bring them to the clinic when they have missed a routine visit or are found to be ill or in need of medical attention.
Working with study team to ensure participant adherence of the protocol procedures.
May require some counselling of participant and/ or family member.
Maintain the motorbikes/ vehicle in good working condition and report any problems to the Study Coordinator/Administrative Officer.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A diploma in humanities or related from a recognized institution, a bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
Must have a valid riding license with at least two years of experience in riding
Three years progressive experience working as a home visitor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to speak Japadhola, Ateso, Samia, Kiswahili, or Luganda
Good communication and interpersonal skills
