Job Description

Dei BioPharma Ltd is a biotech and pharmaceutical research firm duly incorporated in Uganda Specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative medicines and vaccines. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, site Matugga, Wakiso district, Uganda, shall produce high-quality medicines across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including:
• Dermatology: Skin conditions.
• Orthopedics: Musculoskeletal system.
• Psychiatry: Mental health and disorders.
• Immunology Immune system and related disorders.
• Neurology: Nervous system disorders.
• Gastroenterology: Digestive system and its disorders.
• Endocrinology: Hormones and endocrine system.
• Pulmonology: Respiratory system and lung conditions
• Cardiology: Heart and cardiovascular system.
• Oncology.: Cancer treatment

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals.

  • Identify market opportunities and target markets for growth.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the sales and marketing teams.

  • Set performance goals and KPIs for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.


Sales Management:

  • Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.

  • Establish sales targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.

  • Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.


Marketing Management:

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).

  • Develop brand positioning and messaging strategies.

  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is advantageous.


Experience:

  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.

  • Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.

  • Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.


Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of market research and data analysis methods.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales/marketing automation tools.


Personal Attributes:

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Creative and innovative mindset.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
