Set and review health and safety guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries.

Develop and monitor the implementation of requirements associated to the integrated management system (Safety and Environment Plan)

Ensures compliance with applicable in respect of safety and health rules.

Collaborates with the Managing Director on the upkeep of the organization and updates all documents under the HSPM.

Conduct safety audits checks and compile reports, this may include checking for appropriate safety clothing or gear, as well as enforcing the display of safety signage.

Perform risk assessment and combat source risks that be avoided.

Shall periodically review the efficacy of HSPM and ensure compliance.

Organizes an efficient file that can be maintained easily accessible and identifiable records concerning safety, to always demonstrate the operability of the system.

Enquires the distribution of required PPE to workers, ensuring their proper suitability.

Performs verification of equipment used in site work to release its entry, executing the record of overall control of equipment as required by DHSPM for that purpose.

Coordinates the intervention team first in the provision of first aid.

Consult with government regulations and other emergency response agencies to ensure that the workplace is compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsible for presenting and explaining plans, as well as conducting training programs.
