The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory body, established in 1996 by the Capital Markets Authority Act (Cap 84) as amended, to promote, develop and regulate the capital markets industry. CMA is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. The work of the CMA is also governed by the Securities Central Depositories Act, 2009 and the Collective Investment Schemes Act, 2003.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
We are seeking candidates with upper class Bachelor’s degrees in the following fields: For Market Supervision: Economics, Business Administration (Finance), Commerce, Accounting or related disciplines.
If you hold an upper-class Bachelor’s degree (minimum of an upper second) from a recognized institution, having been awarded in a period not exceeding two (2) years by the date of application, we encourage you to apply.
(b)The desired candidate(s) should demonstrate strong intellectual skills with the ability to comprehend technical matters pertaining to the area of training and demonstrate a high degree of social skills, self-awareness and self-motivation. The candidate(s) shall demonstrate a high potential to progress to a level required for a substantive position at the Authority by the end of the program.
