Job Description
The Geophysicist will work closely with Operations Geology, Reservoir Engineers, Geologists, and Drilling Teams to provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of oil and gas development projects. Key responsibilities include seismic QC and interpretation, time-to-depth conversion, uncertainty analysis, and reservoir characterization. The candidate will also contribute to well planning and drilling support, ensure proper integration of geophysical data, and actively participate in studies related to non-operated assets and cap rock monitoring. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, documentation, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Operations Geology, Reservoir Engineering, Geologists, and Drilling Teams.
Conduct seismic QC, processing/inversion, structural interpretation, and uncertainty analysis.
Perform reservoir characterization and time-to-depth conversion.
Prepare Well SORs in collaboration with geologists and engineers.
Support drilling operations with geophysical analysis and seismic interpretation.
Ensure proper geophysical data management in coordination with the Geoinformation team.
Integrate well results into reservoir models and update development well designs.
Participate in regulatory documentation (PRR, ARR).
Coach and mentor junior Geophysicists.
Contribute to activities involving non-operated assets such as Kingfisher.
Follow up on geophysical studies carried out by HQ technical teams.
Participate in structural interpretation and cap rock integrity monitoring.
Support environmental objectives including project footprint and GHG emission activities.
Propose and implement improvements to achieve project goals.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years as a reservoir Geophysicist.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong teamwork, communication, commitment, and efficiency.
Experience in seismic QC, processing/inversion, interpretation, reservoir characterization.
Knowledge of headquarter and affiliate study environments.
Experience with overburden/cap rock monitoring is a plus.
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
Proven mentoring and documentation/reporting skills.
