Job Description
Job Title: Geologist
Organisation: TotalEnergies
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Participate the Well SORs preparation in close collaboration with the geophysicists, reservoir engineers, Operation Geology and drilling teams (objectives, well trajectory, target box, section TD criteria, data acquisition).
During drilling operations, work together with the Ops Geology, geophysicist, reservoir engineers and Drilling teams to safely deliver the wells and achieve their objectives.
Participate in the analysis of the geological data and apply the best practice in managing these data together with the Geoinformation team.
Participate in the reservoir models update with new data collected during the drilling campaign.
Contribute to the documentation and reporting required by the Local Authorities (PRR, ARR, …)
Propose continuous improvements on the way the team (2G) works.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum a Bachelors or master’s degree in Geology.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Geologist with practice in the following competencies: geological & structural interpretation, structural modeling, reservoir modeling, log interpretation, petrophysical synthesis & modeling, well preparation, uncertainty analysis, reservoir characterization.
