About the Organisation
The Old Boys of Namilyango College through their Association – Namilyango College Old Boys’ Association (NACOBA), together with the College Board of Governors, established the NAMILYANGO COLLEGE PEREGRINE KIBUUKA ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION LIMITED (NACO-FUND) NACO-FUND aims to receive, manage, and invest funds raised and realized to support the construction and renovation of dilapidated infrastructure at the college, provide student bursaries and scholarships, and improve staff welfare. Like other Endowment Funds, all contributions are invested to build a sizeable fund and only utilize proceeds from the invested capital.
Specifically, the NACO-FUND raise funds to:
Finance bursaries and scholarships at the College.
Support the development and refurbishment of infrastructure at the College.
Support staff welfare and other learning-related activities at the College.

Job Description
Job Title: Fund Administrator (Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: Namilyango College Old Boys’ Association (NACOBA)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Working under limited supervision, the Fund Administrator will execute the Fund’s administrative role by implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors and coordinating day-to-day activities while acting as the liaison between the Board and all other stakeholders, focusing on increasing visibility and resources for the Fund.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day/office activities of the Fund (Secretariat such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies).
Develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs and projects to promote the PKF and mobilize funds from alumni and other partners. Ensure full recovery of all pledges
Represent the Fund at meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, and events to promote awareness and fundraising initiatives for the fund
Plan, coordinate, publicize, market, and attend events and meetings scheduled, affiliated with, and organized by the Fund, ensuring the fund’s visibility.
Draft, circulate, and respond to communications, media publicity, and correspondences with various stakeholders or as assigned. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail to all stakeholders
Coordinate and produce minutes from meetings, create presentations and conduct research.
Generate periodic, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hod reports, proposals, and analyses for the Board regarding activities implemented by the Fund
Regularly update the Fund website and social media channels to enhance the brand identity, online presence, information dissemination, and customer engagement services.
Receive, receipt and promptly bank all funds, including mobile money transactions.
Manage a petty cash fund and process all fund payments.
Be the focal point person during external audits.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the respective Board committees and members

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelors’ degree in Administration, Social Sciences, Commerce, Management, Accounting or related field;
Minimum 1 years experience in any of the following: basic administration, logistics management, communication and accounting :
Proven experience with basic administration and accounting practices
Competencies:
The candidate should have the following competencies:
A self-motivated person with impeccable integrity who is result-oriented and with the ability to work under minimal supervision, extra hours, and to meet deadlines;
High analytical capacity, thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail;
Computer skills with high proficiency in MS Office and accounting packages;
Good networking, interpersonal, communication and reporting skills;
