Job Description
The Front Desk Receptionist will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests at Sea Cliff Hotel. Responsibilities include greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in and out, managing reservations, and handling inquiries. The receptionist will also answer phone calls professionally, provide information about hotel services, assist with special requests, and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Handle phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
Process reservations and maintain an updated booking system
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
Handle guest complaints and escalate issues as necessary
Perform administrative and clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in phone etiquette and receptionist duties
Clerical skills for administrative tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
