Job Description
As an FP&A Analyst at Xapo Bank, you will assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets, analyzing trends, and developing reporting tools that inform decision-making. You’ll create and maintain financial models, monitor performance metrics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support senior management with insights and data-driven recommendations. The role offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere and requires a passion for fintech and crypto industries.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets
Analyze financial data and trends to provide strategic insights
Generate and distribute financial reports including variance analysis and dashboards
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools
Support senior management with presentations and business case analysis
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy
Monitor KPIs and suggest performance improvement strategies
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Enhance and optimize FP&A processes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in fintech/financial services
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling & data analysis)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with financial reporting principles and accounting standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Passion for fintech, crypto, and innovation
Desirable/Additional Skills:
Experience with Anaplan, NetSuite, Looker
Basic SQL or database querying
Exposure to ERP and financial planning software
Familiarity with remote working tools
Willingness to comply with Xapo’s Device Policy and security protocols
