Job Description
As a Founder in Residence, you will work closely with Cache’s CEO and senior leadership on high-impact projects across the portfolio. This role is designed for individuals seeking their second job, particularly those interested in transitioning into entrepreneurship or venture leadership. Your responsibilities will include special projects, hands-on business tasks, and strategic planning assignments. The position offers you the chance to observe and contribute to the growth of early-stage companies, create financial models, validate business ideas, and even research potential acquisitions. Ideal candidates are adaptable, analytical, and highly motivated individuals with a desire to grow into co-founders or startup leaders.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with the CEO on strategic projects
Attend and learn from portfolio company meetings
Support and manage routine processes across portfolio businesses
Build financial models for potential ventures
Conduct experiments to test business ideas
Develop research plans and analyze new market opportunities
Assist in recruitment for various team roles
Prepare pitch and presentation materials
Contribute to early-stage portfolio company operations
Scout potential acquisition targets
