Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within an establishment, ensuring high-quality service, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, budgets, menus, and overall operations to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Operational Management
Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
Ensure the smooth execution of food and beverage services in line with company standards.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to maintain consistent stock of food, beverages, and supplies.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff, including chefs, servers, and bartenders.
Develop staff schedules and allocate tasks to ensure efficiency.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance employee skills and morale.
Menu Development
Collaborate with chefs and bartenders to design appealing and cost-effective menus.
Introduce seasonal or promotional menu items to boost sales.
Ensure all menu items meet quality, presentation, and safety standards.
Customer Service Excellence
Monitor customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, feedback, and suggestions promptly.
Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and personalized service to enhance guest experiences.
Regularly review customer feedback and implement strategies to improve services.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets for the food and beverage department.
Analyze financial reports, monitor sales, and control costs to achieve profitability targets.
Implement cost-control measures, including waste reduction and efficient resource allocation.
Health and Safety Compliance
Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in compliance with regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
Train staff on proper food handling and safety procedures.
Marketing and Promotions
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract more patrons to the food and beverage outlets.
Organize events, theme nights, or special promotions to boost sales and engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the visibility of F&B services.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and present periodic performance reports to senior management.
Use sales and feedback data to identify trends, make forecasts, and plan future improvements.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management in an international five-star hotel, preferably in a hospitality or catering environment.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, operations, and regulations.
Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management software.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle complaints professionally.
Work Environment:
This role requires a mix of office work and hands-on involvement in food and beverage service areas. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
