Financial Controller-FOKUS job at Stromme Foundation

• Review and quality assure budgets, interim reports and yearly reports from partners
Work closely with programme advisors and conduct comparison with financial and narrative reports
Assist and give guidance and advice in the financial running of the projects.
Regularly carry out financial checks and/or spot check in projects.
Carry out reviews/assessments of partners
Follow-up of Management letters and financial reviews/partner assessments
Attend and contribute to trainings/workshops.
Participate in travel activities and visits to partners
Conduct anti-corruption trainings and develop financial competence among partner staff.
Contribute to capacity strengthening of our local partners in the entire region.
Perform additional related duties as assigned by Strømme or the back-donors.

Qualifications
• Bachelors in accounting or similar with a CPA (U) certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience from similar position
• Able and willing to travel in eastern Africa.
• Fluent English, knowledge of Kiswahili an advantage
