Job Description

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are currently seeking a part-time, temporary Financial Analyst to provide project reconciliation for day-to-day time keeping and ensuring the agents FEMA timesheets are reconciled daily, weekly and per time period. The candidate will support both the DHS FEMA Project Managers and NSS Project Controller(s).

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Provide reconciliation of agents timesheets between DHS FEMA DOMA systems and PSI's CostPoint.

  • Reconciliation may occur daily, weekly, pay period, and at monthly invoicing.

  • Track employees time based on CLIN funding and charge code.

  • Provide accurate data to support the monthly EAC of project financials.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum Requirements

  • Project Control experience with a Government Contractor. An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.

  • Experience in the following:

    • Managing activates to prepare budgets and forecasts to the project and track financial metrics such as revenue, expense, etc.

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Performing various financial analysis such as reconciliations and variance analysis.

    • Demonstrated understanding of business actions necessary for processing timesheets requests and invoices.

    • Ability and willingness to personally document and distribute monthly status reports on time all the time.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint.

  • Understanding of subcontracts and subcontract purchase order process.

  • Experience supporting project management of information technology systems.

  • Experience using SharePoint.
