Job Description
To reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis in a timely manner, with precision and comprehensiveness of accounting entries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
To reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis in a timely manner, with precision and comprehensiveness of accounting entries.
To investigate and report any disputes immediately and ensure outstanding items are resolved with 7-days.
To carry out value for money analysis, review bank charges, bank services levied per bank account, dormant account and advocate corrective actions.
To assist Internal and External auditors with queries
To prepare monthly fully reconciled bank statements and maintain well-kept files of checked and approved bank reconciliations.
To guarantee timely feedback on bounced transactions or any discrepancies on the accounts.
To work as a bank agent, manage delivery of payment documents to bank and withdrawals.
To maintain regular communication with key stakeholders and resolve raised queries in a satisfactory and timely manner.
To maintain an Up-to-date accurate records of bank account reconciliation in files. To support in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as per organisation guidelines to management.

Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
The applicant for the role should hold at least a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least a minimum of 3 years working experience in a large organization in a similar role.
At least Level two of a professional accounting body ACCA and CPA is an added advantage.
Computer literacy in MS office applications.
Proficiency in an accounting system, knowledge of Solomon is an advantage.
