The enterprise operates two retail cafés in Gishushu and Kiyovu, Kigali, which serve as sales outlets for coffee products and beverages, as well as training hubs for baristas, farmers, and coffee professionals. The initiative enhances visibility for women coffee growers and supports the improvement of coffee quality from seed to cup.

Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Finance Manager will lead the finance department comprising Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Payables, and Treasury. The role requires active involvement in financial planning, monitoring investments, budgeting, financial systems management, compliance, and audit support. This is a full-time position based in Kigali, Rwanda, with either a permanent or contract employment arrangement.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Banking and Investment Management
Manage the company’s investment portfolio and assess investment opportunities.
Monitor performance and align strategies with financial goals.
Maintain relationships with financial institutions and negotiate terms.
Financial System Management
Maintain financial systems and ensure data accuracy.
Implement and optimize financial software tools.
Treasury Management
Oversee liquidity, cash flow, and banking optimization.
Budgeting and Planning
Assist in budget creation, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
Accounts Receivable Management
Supervise invoicing, collections, and aging of receivables.
Ensure compliance with credit policies.
Imprest Management
Manage and reconcile imprest accounts, track disbursements.
Payments and Payroll
Oversee vendor payments and payroll processing.
Ensure tax and employment law compliance.
Month-End Procedures
Lead closing procedures, reconcile accounts, prepare reports.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Develop and enforce treasury and financial procedures.
Produce financial reports and support internal/external audits.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of a recognized professional body.
Experience
Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3 in a senior financial role in the for-profit sector.
Skills and Competencies
Expertise in financial management, investment and treasury management.
Strong budgeting, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
Proficient in financial software.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Integrity, self-motivation, and commitment to the organization’s mission.
