Job Description
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting financial transactions and reporting, monitoring cost centers, ensuring timely payments, resolving queries, and working closely with other departments and Senior Finance Analysts. The role requires an individual with strong knowledge in financial control and management, good analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations and accounting standards
Perform financial analysis and reporting, manage taxation, insurance, accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, budgeting, and forecasting
Provide advice to management on financial matters and the impact of regulations
Collaborate with Senior Finance Analysts to develop budgets and review general ledgers
Monitor cost center budgets, share reports with owners, and organize variance analysis meetings
Ensure timely invoice and staff claim payments and maintain proper documentation
Resolve financial queries and complaints within the agreed Turnaround Time (TAT)
Follow up on outstanding entries in suspense accounts
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
At least 1 year of experience in financial accounting
Knowledge in financial control, bank policies, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools
Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and customer service skills
