Job Description
As a Field Sales Specialist, you will actively seek new sales opportunities, build a solid sales pipeline, and close deals to grow iKhokha’s market presence. You’ll be required to prospect in key trade areas, engage merchants, manage leads, and uphold the brand’s standards. You will also be responsible for post-sale support, upselling, cross-selling, managing customer documentation, and following up with clients. Daily use of CRM tools, territory planning, and campaign reporting are integral to this role.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Source and convert new customers in designated trade areas
Conduct post-sale calls, demos, and follow-ups
Upsell and cross-sell new or promotional products
Plan and execute customer acquisition strategies
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and demo targets
Manage sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM
Provide feedback to improve sales/service processes
Support customers with FICA documentation
Conduct follow-up visits and assist merchants
Represent the iKhokha brand with professionalism
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Resolve customer complaints with accountability
Stay current on product and industry knowledge

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of outbound/field sales experience
Experience in merchant services or banking is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
CRM and Sales Software knowledge (HubSpot preferred)
FICA training is advantageous
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport
Personal Attributes:
Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
