The Facilities Maintenance Associate will work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance maintenance operations at PIH’s healthcare facilities worldwide. Responsibilities include implementing and managing the CMMS system, developing preventative maintenance plans, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting technical teams in global locations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (40%)
Assist in the planning and implementation of CMMS for facilities maintenance teams.
Act as CMMS super user, modifying workflows, creating dashboards, importing data, and managing preventative maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular check-in calls with site CMMS leads to monitor progress and address challenges.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for infrastructure and equipment.
Serve as the point of contact for facilities and biomedical leads regarding the CMMS system.
Parts and Supply Chain (40%)
Maintain an essential stock list for parts at PIH’s global healthcare facilities to prevent equipment downtime.
Work with the sourcing team to provide technical data for inventory management and annual bulk parts orders.
Process site requests for spare parts, new equipment, and tools, assisting with sourcing and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts of key parts.
Site Support and Accompaniment (20%)
Identify and promote cross-site collaboration, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
Collect, organize, and distribute facilities and equipment documentation.
Develop PIH CMMS best practices and train users.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, mechanical/electrical/civil engineering, or construction management, OR 2-4 years of relevant experience.
At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with CMMS software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team across multiple locations.
Preferred:
Basic technical knowledge of facilities equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, pumps, medical gas systems, fire safety, incinerators, and solar power systems.
Experience working in developing countries.
