The Facilities Assistant II (Administration) is responsible for keeping security at important entry points, receiving incoming phone calls and other communications, performing clerical tasks and facilitating effective operation of company premises.
Salary Scale: KS2(1)
Report to: Facilities Assistant III
Direct Reports: Facilities Assistant I
Key Functions:
Keep security at important entry points and assigned installations and carry out regular security checks, health check-ups and sanitization routines such as pest control in the designated areas of operation.
Handle incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.
Collect and deliver office items, documents, mail, and parcels as instructed and maintain an inventory of the company assets and other stock and regularly replenish as required.
Clean office premises and ensure that the offices/workshops are properly opened and locked in a timely manner.
Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all Office Administration aspects within the company.
Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least Two(2) Principle Passes.
Minimum Experience
The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Three (3) years. The applicant should have served in the role of Office Attendant/Custodian/ Security Officer in a reputable organization for at least Two (2) years.
