Uganda National Examinations Board is a national assessment body in Uganda, established in 1983 by an act of Parliament. The UNEB Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary, who is the Chief Executive head and the accounting officer of the board.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is a body corporate established under Cap.137 Laws of Uganda. Its Vision is “A Recognized Centre of Globally Competitive Educational Assessment and Certification” and its mission is “Conduct Valid, Reliable, Equitable and Quality Assessment of Learners’ Achievement in a Professional and Innovative Manner and Award Internationally Recognized Certificates.”

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare Arabic language assessment tools for national examinations.
Translate and validate examination materials.
Maintain compliance with curriculum and testing standards.
Conduct training for examiners and assessors.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language or related field.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Experience in test development or teaching Arabic.
