Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Organisation: Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Maintain a service schedule for electrical systems.
Allocate work and monitor performance of plant-based electricians.
Develop routine maintenance checklist for all electrical infrastructure and equipment.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for use and maintenance of electrical systems.
Liaise with power distribution companies for supply of power; repairs of electrical lines; payment of electricity bills and any other related transactions.
Perform surveys, prepare technical reports, read technical drawings and schematics, wiring diagrams, and design electrical installations.
Overhaul and/or transfer electrical assets;
Maintain electrical consumption records for all the group locations, and assist during the preparation of engineering budgets with inputs for electrical requirements and forecasts.
