Job Description
The Driver will be responsible for timely transportation of staff, goods, and documents as directed. They must maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of assigned vehicles, ensure vehicle documentation is up-to-date, and perform regular maintenance checks. Additionally, the Driver will support both official and personal assignments for Partners, handle airport transfers, and assist with various support functions within the office as required by the Performance Manager or Supervisor.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Deliver goods, documents, and files promptly and securely
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure good working condition
Record mileage, fuel consumption, and other travel documentation accurately
Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, fuel, tires, water, etc.)
Schedule and ensure timely vehicle servicing and licensing
Provide transport for Partners and staff to various destinations
Handle airport transfers for visitors and guests
Support in administrative tasks as assigned
Attend to both official and personal errands of Partners as directed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications:
Secondary School Certificate (Form IV) with passes in Kiswahili and English
Professional Qualifications:
Valid Class C driver’s license
Certificate of Competence in Driving from a recognized institution (e.g. VETA or NIT)
Motorcycle license and experience (added advantage)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience in a corporate environment
Clean driving record with minimal or no violations
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of Tanzanian transportation laws
Excellent traffic judgment and knowledge of car mechanics
Familiarity with Dar es Salaam's roads and landmarks
Excellent driving skills and vehicle care
Basic computer literacy
Effective communication skills in Kiswahili and basic English
Tanzanian citizenship is a must
